From Tirana Airport, the route follows the Tirana–Elbasan highway, then the road along the Shkumbin valley, through Librazhd and the Qukes–Qafe Plloce expressway. From the pass, the road descends toward Lake Ohrid and Pogradec. The distance is about 140 km and the drive takes about 3 hours.
